Our Story
Cloudpermit was created in 2011 with a powerful mission to make community development software that works for local governments of all sizes. We started as a Finnish project, working with the Finnish Ministry of the Environment and several municipalities across Finland to create an accessible and easy-to-use service that is now used by 80% of governments in the country.
Cloudpermit next made the move to Canada, building up partnerships and expanding our software to do much more for Canadian municipalities, including permitting, licensing, inspections, planning, by-law enforcement, and public works. We now work with more than 850 local governments that serve 45 million citizens.
