“As a Chief Building Official managing a building department, if I can have a consistent approach on how we enforce the building code and how we deliver customer service, that is one of the most important things we do. That's why I like Cloudpermit, because of the consistent approach to each application.”

- Garry McCartney, Chief Building Official for the Township of Oro-Medonte, Ontario

“Our counter traffic probably dropped 99%. We’ve gone from dozens of customers a day to one a day or one every other day, and those customers are probably people who are just applying for a building permit for the first time and don’t know that Cloudpermit is what you do.”

- Rob Porteous, Manager of Building Services and Deputy Chief Building Official for the City of Brantford, Ontario

“There are many ways that we have found savings on time, and adopting this technology allows you to spend your time doing different things.”

- Sally McMullen, Building and Development Supervisor and Chief Building Official for the Municipality of North Perth, Ontario

“Any small municipality will tell you that prior to using digital permitting, there were permits that slipped through the cracks. They never had final inspections, or something was always missing. With this system and being able to assign inspections and easily sort, I can see the timeframes and the last time I visited a site. It’s just so much easier to stay on top of things.”

- Brett Miller, Chief Building Official for the Township of Laurentian Valley, Ontario

“Before this software, the majority of our permit applications used to be incomplete. Now, we no longer chase assets since all submitted applications are complete. This has cut our processing time by months and streamlined our permitting process for everyone involved.”

- Jay McEwen, Chief Building Official for the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District, British Columbia

“The time we saved by going online probably prevented us from needing to hire extra staff during our building boom. Without Cloudpermit, we would have struggled to find additional staff given the decreasing labour market at the time. I’m uncertain how we could effectively manage the job without software like this.”

- Corey Pemberton, Director of Building and Community Services for the Township of Southwold, Ontario

“The numbers are going up, and without Cloudpermit, I don't know how we would keep up."

- Sebastian Scott, Chief Building Official for the City of Brockville, Ontario
